System Requirements for ABELDent Cloud
Important Note: If you are purchasing new hardware, we recommend that you purchase hardware that meets or exceeds our recommended specifications.

| Server is not required for cloud | Since ABELDent Cloud data resides in the cloud, “server” hardware is not required. However, if you are using more than ten workstations, one workstation may need to run a Windows Server operating system (MS Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016/R2, 2012 R2). Standard or Essentials editions are OK. Please contact ABEL to find out more. Your radiography or imaging solution may require a server. | Backups | See details | ABELDent Cloud is a hosted offering so we take care of ABELDent backups, but your other applications such as radiography, imaging, etc. have data that you need to protect. You will require an Internet backup service or external drives to protect any such data.
